"I’ve been a loyal customer of the Ken Jipping State Farm office for nearly 20 years. I started with a simple PLPD auto policy when I first got my license and have since expanded to homeowners insurance, multiple auto policies, life insurance, and an umbrella policy that covers our entire family. Over the years, we’ve price-shopped a few times. While State Farm is sometimes slightly more expensive, the difference has never been significant. In my view, insurance is a necessary evil, and you don’t truly know the quality of a policy until you actually need to use it. What truly sets this office apart is the personal service. I work directly with my agent, Amy, who is incredibly responsive and accessible—whether by email, phone, text, or in-person meetings. She’s proactive about reaching out during major life events and takes the time to explain why certain coverage changes make sense or when a different election may be better for our situation. The insurance world is complicated and heavily regulated. Having a real person who knows me by name and can guide me through decisions is invaluable. I also have several vehicles that go in and out of storage throughout the year, and being able to call the office and have policies adjusted in under a minute is absolutely worth every penny. But they quoted me homeowners insurance, I paid a down payment and made one monthly payment before they said they made a mistake and charged me an extra $100 over what they quoted. In my book that's a bait and switch and I'm pretty sure that's illegal. I did have a windshield claim and they took care of it no problem. Just be aware of the bait and switch tactics."
